Menchie's

There is this fabulous little company called MerryMakers in the Houston area. They put on playgroups for kids throughout the week at various restaurant locations and it's totally FREE! On Mondays at 11am (we drive straight there after Bethany's 10am music class, put on by the ward primary chorister), there is a playgroup at Menchies Frozen Yogurt and it is one of my favorite things that I do with the kids all week! Miss Carolyn does face painting, story time, songs, and balloon animals AND the kids and I get a yogurt to share! The kids LOVE it!
Bethany getting some pretty glittery flowers painted on her arm.

Isn't she the cutest?!

Funny little monkey

Sharing a yogurt

Ring around the rosie! Becca was by far the youngest, but she joined the fun and did great! It was so cute! Luke preferred to watch.

"We all fall down!"

This girl loooves to play!

Luke stood quietly off to the side and just watched for most of the activities.

Just one of the big kids.

Singing "Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed" (I stole this picture off of the MerryMakers website, which is why it's all stylized).

Each kid got to fall down when their color monkey fell off the bed in the song.

Bethany/the yellow monkey fell off the bed!

Story time

Bethany could answer every question Miss Carolyn asked about the story.

Messy-faced Becca giving a baby doll loves.

Not sure if this is a kiss or a taste.

Becca decided to put her hat on backwards.

Then, she decided Luke should try it on.

More hugs! You can see why these girls are a little hesitant to let Luke hug them sometimes!

Bethany's cute monkey balloon

Luke and Becca shared a balloon and it stayed in the shape of a monkey for approximately 8 seconds.

Tired, but happy kids heading home for lunch, stories, and naps.
