The day after Thanksgiving, we jumped right on the Christmas decorating at our house! It was so fun to have our very own house to decorate this year! Jeff cheated death, hanging beautiful white icicle lights on our roof.
But the very first thing we did was put up our tree...
Luke was very helpful.
This kid loves anything that lights up. He plugged in and unplugged that strand of lights so many times!
Luke's decorating technique was just to get as many of the lights as possible to stay on the bottom row of branches.

Luke was pretty stoked to find some weapons amongst the holiday decorations.

Jeff and Luke played jump rope with a string of plastic silver bells.
Luke found the musical pop-up Christmas card Mamal sent him last year. He was so excited! The lights on the Christmas tree flash and it plays "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" when you open it.
He carried it around all day.
Luke loved the shiny Christmas ornaments. In the three weeks since this picture was taken, he has broken two and Bethany has broken one.
