A new Color Me Mine just opened in Cypress so Jeff and I decided to go paint mugs for date night. It has gotten seriously cold here and we will be drinking a lot of hot chocolate! I didn't realize Houston got this cold in the winter, but at least I can be grateful it's not snowing!
Jeff painted dinosaurs on his ridiculously huge mug.
I used puff paint to paint snowflakes and "Baby it's cold outside" on mine.
The (un-fired) finished product. Sadly, I think I liked it better before it was fired.
I LOVE the way Jeff painted this tree on the handle!
Done! And in plenty of time to pick Luke up before bedtime. It's hilarious how our date nights almost always end before 8pm these days!
Menchie's was just across the street so naturally, we had to stop by there before heading home.
Look at my beautiful creation!
Jeff almost always gets gummy bears on his yogurt. He's just waiting for the yogurt places to wise up and get chocolate covered raisins.
Back at home, we got in a little playtime with Luke before we put him to bed...
The explanation for Jeff's face (and Luke's): Luke tooted.
I have a feeling that as soon as he's old enough, Luke will beg to try bungee jumping.
I promise our baby is not malnourished, despite his appearance in this picture.
"Okay Daddy, time for bed."
"Keep walking..."
