Proof that at 7 1/2 months old, Luke officially learned to crawl last night ...

 

Luke has been on the verge of crawling for what seems like forever. He would get up on his hands and knees and rock, but ultimately go backwards. He didn't progress from that point for the longest time. Then, out of nowhere, he decided crawling was a piece of cake. It was like he'd known how to do it all along and he was just holding out on us. I didn't even realize he was doing it at first because I was busy taking pictures of him. One second he was a couple of feet in front of me on his hands and knees hamming it up for the camera, the next he was right in front of me grabbing for the flashing green light. He loves the camera, especially that little green light. I guess he decided that getting his hands on it was enough motivation for him to make his crawling debut.
