How Many Kids Can You Fit in a Stroller?

August 19, 2016

Luke falls and hurts his knee on our walk to the school for Meet the Teacher. We inexplicably manage to make a one-kid stroller, already piled high with 3 kids, into a one-kid stroller bursting at the seams with 4 kids. The tires immediately go flat with a comical pffffffft. But that doesn't stop us. We soldier on, flat tires and all. Until the school comes into view and Luke decides he needs to maintain his image. He climbs out and "bravely" walks the rest of the way on his "injured" knee. The tires get a little life back in them. Luke magically does too! It's a day of miracles!

Luke is so excited to start 1st grade and he already loves his teacher Mrs. Mosher. He cozied right up to her while I filled out paperwork and repeatedly thwarted McKenna's escape plans. I actually had to remind him that he could talk to her without sitting in her lap. And his classroom is right next door to my good friend and fellow Primary Presidency member, Laura (a.k.a. Mrs. Maddock). She heard us talking to Mrs. Mosher and came over to say hi and help me wrangle the baby. She's the best! And Luke's friend, neighbor, and bus buddy, Maddox, is in Laura's class, so they'll be neighbors all year! Hurray!
