My brilliant engineer husband replaced the faulty speaker in Luke's Fisher Price piano with one from our jogging stroller (we had recently gotten a better speaker for the stroller). He used a soldering iron and everything. I was thoroughly impressed.

P.S. I keep forgetting to mention Jeff's new calling in the ward. He was called to teach the Elders Quorum about a month ago. He alternates with one other instructor. I wouldn't say he's thrilled about it (he'd rather work in the nursery), but he is doing an excellent job. He is always well prepared and I've heard from two reliable sources that his lessons are very good.
