Toys

At about 3 months old, Luke became much more interested in his toys. He started holding his rattle for much longer periods of time and paying attention to what was in his hand. He also started giving the little monster hanging from his car seat a lot more attention. He stares at it and talks to it and if it is pulled down within his reach, he will grab its arms and legs.

Luke isn't the only one enjoying bright colorful toys, Jeff is getting in on the action too. At Gore, they believe that engineers can't sit through lectures without something to do with their hands so they provide toys. The other day, Jeff came home with his transformer, silly putty, stress ball, and rainbow-colored magnetic blocks. I love it!

And this is just a picture of Luke's cute little face during tummy time. This little boy rolled over (stomach to back) for the first time on October 5th, when he was 3 months and 1 week old. I had finally started being more consistent with his daily tummy time for a week or so before. He doesn't like it very much, but he hates it less now that he's gotten more used to it and it didn't take him long to figure out how to roll over once he got more frequent practice.
