One Sunday afternoon, we came home from church to find a goodie bag left on our porch just for Luke. Our neighbor Aurelia had had an adorable spa day themed birthday party the day before and we had missed it (Jeff was probably grateful because I'm pretty sure the one or two boys that did go were good sports and came away with painted nails). I thought it was so sweet that even though it was a very girly party, Luke's goody bag was full of more boy-ish toys. So thoughtful! We have great neighbors!
The fam came over for dinner that night and the kids had a wonderful time attacking Grandpa with pool noodles and stuffed animals!
The kids got a serious kick out of talking and listening through the pool noodles!
When the other kids went home, Grandma and Grandpa brought in an exciting massive box for Luke! Since we were all going to be out of town (and not together) for Christmas, Luke was getting his gift from them early. He was pretty excited!

Luke had to go to bed before it was all assembled, so it was a VERY
exciting surprise to see the train table in all its glory when he woke
up the next morning!
He LOVES it!
In all of the excitement, I accidentally spilled an entire tube of glow sticks and a bunch of them cracked. It was the best nap time Luke had had in a while!
