Real Love

About a week and a half ago, our family got hit hard by a nasty 24 hour flu that was going around our ward. The barfing part actually only lasted about 6 hours and thankfully, we were comfortable enough to sleep in between trips to the bathroom. Then it was just rebuilding strength and appetites for a day. So, it definitely could have been worse, but the bad parts were pretty intense. 

I found out just how much my saint of a husband loves me when I passed out right after the first time I puked and spilled the bucket I had been puking in all over the bathroom floor. He cleaned it up! I told him I would do it, but he insisted I get back in bed while he took care of it. World's Greatest Husband award? I think so! I mean, I would have been grossed out cleaning that mess up! And then, the man got up every time I did so he could catch me when I passed out, which I did a total of 4 times (I have no idea when I became such a pansy), and all the while he was taking care of Luke too (Luke was sick at exactly the same time). The fun started at 10:30pm and lasted most of the night. Poor Jeff only got about 3-4 hours of sleep! He took care of us the next morning and went to work in the afternoon to finish up his responsibilities before our cruise two days later. Can you see why we love this guy?? He's amazing!

How cute is this?? Poor sick Luke looks just like a tired parent doing a 2am feeding. He just sat there like this for the longest time!

Luke started doing this great kissy face, but for some reason he can't recreate it when asked or when I try to show him how to do it. Instead, he does a face like this...
