We had grand out-of-the-house plans for the day after Thanksgiving, buuuut someone got sick right in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner and the poor little guy needed at least one day of taking it easy. So, we spent the day decorating for Christmas instead, and the little man was, as usual, inexplicably cheerful considering how sick he was!
Setting up the tree.
Luke LOVES this wreath (a.k.a. "Christmas circle") and the power he has to make it light up as many times as he wants to!
Imitating Mommy taking lots of pictures with his little toy camera.
Smile Daddy!
While Jeff risked his life hanging lights outside (Luke took this picture) ...
... Luke helped me turn our refrigerator into a snowman.
A quick trip to Wal-Mart for supplies. Luke (and Jeff) can't resist the toys on display.
Luke had a blast trying out a big boy bike! He was so proud of himself!
Decorating the tree.
Luke wanted to touch every ornament I put on the tree.
Giggling toddler, lit Christmas tree, and Christmas music. Perfect.
Impromptu family pic.
And finally, some shots of the outside of the house that night. The lower tier of icicle lights are the blinking kind, so it kind of looks like they are dripping. Overall, totally gorgeous! Jeff did a great job! I love driving home to this sight!
Luke filled his stocking with toys and had us all pick things out of it. He's ready for Christmas!
